BERLINGUA language school periodically organise a series of cultural and leisure activities that serve to compliment the work in our classrooms and increase the students knowledge of our Spanish culture, countryside, art and gastronomy.
 

GASTONOMICAL TASTINGS:
Organised as complementary to Spanish classes. The students review the ingredients and learn the art of preparation followed by sampling the dish with their fellow students.

READING CORNER:
They are meetings for people interested in our literature (limited to 15 places) where the speaker reads excerpts of poetry, theatre, and stories of literary and commentary works.

LOCAL PLACES OF INTEREST:
Students can see the typical folklore of the Vega Baja region. Places that we can visit with small groups are very nearby:Processions of Easter Week (Holy Week), Pilgrimage of the Virgin of Pilar, Festival of the habitants of Havana, Representation of Misteri, Elche,Parades of the Moors and the Christians, Pilgrimage of San Isidro, Bull fights.
CULTURAL MEETINGS:
 There is always an interested group of people who wish to participate in these types of events. Organised guided tours to places of interests such as; Alicante, Elche, Orihuela, Murcia and Xativa etc.
